In August we were pleased to host two days during which whole families could experience the farm: milking the cows, taking the young oxen Birch and Alder for a walk, harvesting food from the garden and cooking a meal together on the open fire. We also made some mozzarella style cheese from the fresh milk.
With Cait’s help we started the fire without paper or matches, only with flint and steel and dry plants found in the field.
