How do cows live? What kind of beds do they sleep in? What does it feel like when a little calf sucks on my finger? How comes the milk out of the cow? And how does milk turn into yogurt and cheese? How do vegetables and berries grow? How do bees live and make honey? We won’t tell you all this, but the children will experience and learn it through all their senses!
We offer holiday camps (Easter and Summer) where children can experience life on a farm while helping with the daily work of caring for animals; milking, feeding calves, making bedding for the cows, bringing them to the fields and with a bit of luck even witnessing the birth of a calf.
These camps are run by Cornelia, who loves to share her love for nature and growing food with her own four children – and with many others – because she sees the enormous benefits towards their healthy development.
