There where lots of lights shining through the dark woods of Ériu Farm on Halloween Night. A big group of children and their parents were helping the fairies find the key to their winter residence. It was not found in the bread of the baker, also not in the heap of leaves, but thankfully a little gnome knew how to get it from “Torch Tedd” who had it hanging from a tree. Proudly singing, all the children brought the key to the fairy king who shared his big pot of hot chocolate and some fairy biscuits with everyone.
It was lovely to see so many children joining in on the magic of a dark forest and a story. And we were once more reassured that there is a big interest and appreciation for more wholesome and meaningful festivals and activities that enable us to reconnect to nature and each other.
